This program incorporates intensive hands-on teaching and mentoring to help you learn how to apply your Canadian Tax knowledge and tax software skills to real full-cycle tax cases. You will learn how to file your tax return using the Government of Canada’s online tax return service, Netfile. You will also gain familiarity with other methods of filing personal taxes and self-employment taxes and you will know how to use U-file for newcomers, families, students and seniors. The course also covers income tax liabilities for Canadian residents with income, deductions and credits. By the end of this course, you will know how to handle self-employed business returns with income/expenses determination and calculation.
Results:
When a student completes the three levels of Personal Tax Preparation courses, he/she will know how to deal with newcomers, families, students and seniors through U-file. You will learn the income tax liabilities for Canadian residents with income, deductions and credits from tax perspective. The course will also let you know how to handle self-employed business return with income/expenses determination and calculation.
Handling tax preparation cases in a real business environment will enable you obtain useful practical skills in your pursuit of tax accountant career.
